Yves Saint Laurent Spring 1985 Haute Couture Collection

Designer Yves Saint Laurent's (YSL) great Broadway-inspired suit made its debut in his spring 1978 couture collection. A staple in his catalog raisonne, he would perfect it over many seasonal collections. In his fall 1984 couture collection, he introduced a variation of the Broadway suit with plaid and stripe silk accents and a classic trouser. The suit is modeled by YSL's house mannequins (front to back) Violetta Sanchez, Dianne deWitt, Rebecca Ayoko, Kirat Bhinder and Mounia Orosemane at Yves Saint Laurent's atelier at 5 Avenue Marceau in Paris on November 19, 1984. Printed in Archival Matte Paper.

Our art prints are produced on acid-free archival matte paper using archival inks. All art prints include a 1" white border around the image to allow for future framing and matting, if desired.
