With his fall 1992 ready-to-wear collection, designer Oscar de la Renta brought Paris to New York. In 1992, de la Renta became the first American designer to lead the House of Balmain. His expert tailoring combined with a touch of whimsy influenced both collections, as seen here in an exaggerated houndstooth coat dress and hat from his fall 1992 ready-to-wear collection advance, photographed on model Patricia Velasquez at the Brooklyn Bridge Promenade on February 2, 1992.
Our art prints are produced on acid-free archival matte paper using archival inks. All art prints include a 1" white border around the image to allow for future framing and matting, if desired.
