Norman Norell Fall 1964 Haute Couture Collection Salon Fashion Show

Designer Norman Norell was the American Couturier. His salon-style fashion shows gave the American social set a taste of Paris and shaped the tone of American fashion in the 1960s. For his fall 1964 couture collection Norell featured many new youthful silhouettes, including this his no-neckline, self-belt wool afternoon dress worn by a model backstage before the show at his garment industry showroom located at 550 Seventh Avenue, home to America's top designers, in New York City on June 29, 1964.

Our art prints are produced on acid-free archival matte paper using archival inks. All art prints include a 1" white border around the image to allow for future framing and matting, if desired.
