Chanel Fall 1983 Haute Couture Collection

Coco Chanel built a brand suited to the woman of the 20th century. The Chanel suit has lived beyond its inception. The status symbol for a new generation, though, has been reinterpreted a multitude of times, even by one of the most influential designers in fashion history, Karl Lagerfeld. For fall 1983, his second couture collection for the House of Chanel, Lagerfeld took his cue from the origins of the Chanel suit as seen on models complete with the designers’ signature accessories, for the Paris Couture collection advances photographed in Paris on July 17, 1983. Printed in Archival Matte Paper.

Our art prints are produced on acid-free archival matte paper using archival inks. All art prints include a 1" white border around the image to allow for future framing and matting, if desired.
